Use plain skyr. Weigh oats dry and strawberries after removing the stalks. Cooking water adds no calories. Honey, granola and other toppings are not included.
Method
- Weigh 40 g of dry oats. Prepare with water according to the package instructions; the listed oats take about 5 minutes to cook. Let them cool slightly.
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then weigh 150 g of edible fruit. Cut into halves or slices.
- Spoon 200 g of plain skyr into a bowl. Add the prepared oats and strawberries. The whole bowl makes one serving.
- Count the weight and nutrition of any honey, nuts or other additions separately. Record the portion you actually eat.
How we calculated it
Ingredient energy = weight in grams × kcal per 100 g ÷ 100. The sum covers the whole recipe, which makes one serving. Card energy is rounded to 10 kcal and protein to a whole gram.
319.60 kcal → ≈ 320 kcal · 25.41 g → 25 g
